October 12, 2024 — Elysee Cafe, Cagayan de Oro City

The Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro Premier brought together its members for an unforgettable Bingo Fellowship Night at Elysee Cafe. With laughter, competition, and a few vocal challenges, the event was a smashing success, raising funds to support the Club’s Seed Money for the upcoming Governor’s Address on October 19, 2024.

The unique twist for the evening’s festivities involved the “white elephant” item tradition. Each member who brought a quirky or unexpected item as a prize was rewarded with one free Bingo card, setting the stage for a playful exchange. For those looking to boost their odds, additional Bingo cards were available for purchase at PHP 100.00 each, with proceeds going to support the Club’s initiatives. All cards—whether free or purchased—were valid for every round, fueling the competitive spirit that filled the room.

Throughout the evening, members took turns calling out numbers, with each announcement sparking anticipation. Cheers and squeals erupted as players closed in on Bingo patterns, while others playfully groaned whenever someone else achieved that coveted Bingo first. The excitement led to many members insisting on double-checking winning cards, and the friendly rivalry even left a few members hoarse by the end of the night.

The festivities were complemented by a delightful feast of lechon and a dinner generously sponsored by PAG Marion Hazel Du, in celebration of her upcoming birthday. Members savored the meal, adding to the warmth and camaraderie that defined the evening.

The Bingo Fellowship not only provided a night of fun but also reinforced the bonds within the Rotary family, all while raising funds for a meaningful cause. With this spirit, the Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro Premier looks forward to more events that bring its members together for fellowship and service.#
