Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro Premier Hosts Successful Membership Orientation
The Rotary Club of Cagayan de Oro Premier marked Membership and New Club Development Month with an insightful Membership Orientation on August 10, 2024. Held virtually via Zoom, the event was designed to refamiliarize members with the core values and culture of Rotary while welcoming prospective new members into the fold.
The orientation was conducted by Director for Membership Edsel Martin Sabandal, who provided a comprehensive overview of Rotary's mission and the unique aspects of the club's culture. His presentation was the highlight of the event, serving as a pivotal moment during President's Time.
The meeting followed the structure of a regular club session, with Group Azure taking charge of program assignments. Rotarian Mae Grace Siao, known for her dynamic presence, served as the program coordinator, infusing the meeting with energy and enthusiasm. Director Reese Madridano led the invocation, the singing of the national anthem, and the recitation of the Rotary 4-Way Test, establishing a sense of unity and purpose among attendees.
Adding a touch of celebration to the occasion, Vice President George Lim delivered the fellowship report, recognizing the birthday and anniversary celebrants for the month of August. His segment reminded members of the close-knit community they share within the club.
